Lets see... whats been going on lately.

LANNOF! (Luc and Nicole's Night O' Fun!)
Well, last Saturday, I actually got off somewhat "early" from work and spontaneously decided that I wanted to go to Disneyland for some swing dancing... and the only guy who I know who can swing like a cool cat would be Luc! (of course!) So Luc drives over and what do you know, its been like 5 years since he's been to Disneyland AND he's never seen Fantasmic... so bye bye swing dancing and hello Mickey. :) Oh and Mickey ears...

Its the start of LUC AND NICOLE'S NIGHT O' FUN! and boy does Luc look excited!

How exciting!! Its Luc's first time getting Mickey ears!!

Yay for the pink ears!!

Just because I'm wearing ears doesn't mean I'm HARDCORE!

Anyways after the show and some rides... it was off to the Lost Bar for some nachos, drinks, and good company. :) Oh how I heart Luc!

Wow... what a night!! Is someone tired or what?!

So yay and thanks to my dear quasi-bf Luc for coming out and entertaining me! It was a good night!

Since we both had the day off, Mom and I went to our local Chik-fil-a for lunch. Inside, there was a what I call "a future family" for NANNY 911... or SUPERNANNY... whatever "naughty" parenting show you watch. Anyways, watching the mom scream at her 2 young boys who were running amok and allowing her baby to wander around the restrauant BAREFOOT, prompted my mom to say...

"If I had a kid today... I'd put them on a leash."

Good thing I'm not 4 years old or else I'd be tethered to the woman.

It was a pretty chaotic scene and we opted to sit as far away from the kids as we could... and yet there was little barefoot baby wandering by with her mom remarking that she "lost her good child" and laughing about it.

All while George Michael's "I WANT YOUR SEX" was playing the backround.

Weird weird weird.

Ok. Really quick randomness!

-Friday night, drove out to Riverside after work for Maritza's birthday and saw a whole lot of old faces whom I haven't seen in ages! Well, cept for the faces that I saw last week... but you know the drill. I was very afterschool special in a sense that I stayed away from the alcohol and the circle of folks who were screaming at me about anal sex. Instead I stayed on the balcony with darling Luc and made out. (One of these days, our tongues will actually touch and it just may be one of the grossest things in the world. ;P) Poor Ryan got help with a bottle of vodka and I got home in time to wake up the next day for work... the story of my life.

-After work Saturday night, the plan was to go drinking as a last "hurrah" for Jillian since she's moving to Missouri. Unfortuntantly, Jillian wasn't able to come, so we drank for her. Drank and exchanged "wild" stories of puking and other stuff. Its funny because since starting work, I've had several "lets go drinking afterwork" excursions. There wasn't any "wow lets go relax and drink afer that final" or even "lets stop by the bar after this service project!" Working kick ass!!

-Oh apparently my next door neighbor was arrested some odd weeks ago for cooking crystal meth and dealing in the house. You know, we figured they were doing drugs because they were just slightly off... but we never thought it would be crystal meth! No wonder we haven't seen anyone there lately... it also explains all the hooligan kids that used to hang on her drive way. Yeah, so I guess one Saturday, the cops and the FBI came, roped off the neighborhood, and it all went down. No one at the house knew about it because no one was home at the time... crazy I tell you! CURSE YOU OC... WE REALLY ARE THE OTHER SIDE OF THE TRACKS!

-We've been bringing Britney and Sonny (the dog) to puppy school every Saturday lately. Britney, though extremely hyperactive, is getting better and better everday. She can sit and when I tell her to come... she'll gallop over and then pounch on her like any adorable 20 pound beagle would. Sonny (the dog) on the other hand is still really timid and shy and tends to always cower at the other dogs. One girl in our class, who seems to be on the "slightly ditzy" side asked "Is YOUR DOG CONCIETED? BECAUSE I HEAR THAT SMALL DOGS ARE CONCIETED." No... is your dog a milk tea because I think BOBA is a stupid name for a dog. Ugh.

-I've been having a chocolate craving...
Guest: Do you have any sweets?
Me: Noo... but there are vending machines in the far tower that has candy.
Guest: I meant suites. As in rooms.

... Oh yeah of course! Oops.

I still want some chocolate though.

Its funny, everytime I have a day off and Carlene is involved... it somehow turns into the "WORST DAY EVER!"

For example, 3 week ago, I had a day off. My intenerary for the day, go to the eye doctor. My appointment was for 1pm, so I planned on lounging around until it was time to go. Unfortunantly, Carlene was having some problems with her car, I had to wake up extra early to follow her to get it fixed. We get back home, and I still have an hour before my appointment, so I think "YAY! Make up on my sleeping in with a little nap!" But there's a gasp of horror in the room next door and it turns out that Carlene's brand new cell phone has broken. To make matters worse, her and Sonny had been going through "brand new cell phones" like cotton balls because everytime Tmobile would send a phone, there would be something wrong with it. So it was off to the Tmobile store to get it fixed, and then finally going to my eye doctor. Then right after having lunch, I hear a scrapping noise underneath my car... turn my wheel slightly, hear a loud POP, and freak out. When I pull over, I discover that for some FREAKISH reason, my right fog light had fallen out of its socket, and I had ran over the bulb. Ugh.

Fast forward to yesterday. It was my day off and sleeping away when Carlene runs inton my room at 8:45am. Turns out that her car is acting up again on the 91 and because my phone was off, she assumed that I was dead because I wasn't answering when she wanted to have me meet her at the car place. So downstairs I go and unfortunantly now the car is COMPLETELY DEAD and we call AAA to come to our rescue. After 2 hours, they arrive and they manage to get the car working, but just in case, we take her car to the shop, and I'll follow along in my car if we need a ride back. Since Carlene felt bad about waking me up, she offered to buy my a car wash... and I took it up! Yay for carwash!!

You know something is gonna go wrong right?

So the carwash is done and Carlene and I get into the car and we're ready to drive away... until I hear scrapping on the ground. AACK! We got out, I'm on my knees and I see that there's a giant piece of plastic that's supposed to guard the wires underneath my car... broken and completely dragging on the concrete. Apparently while on the carwash track, it had been ripped out completely!

OH MY FREAKIN GOODNESS!!

Anyway, long story short (plus writing about it is making me pissy), the manager ZIP-TIED the bottom of my car together (while telling me never to get a VW because they are poorly made... you're preaching to the choir, baby!) drove it across the street to a mechanic, who then told me that the part was already falling off of the car and well... the carwash manager didn't want to pay for ANYTHING! He also kept on saying "Well, what do you need that piece for... you don't need it!" Um, ass, they wouldn't put the piece there in the first place if it wasn't NEEDED!! Nor did he refund the carwash... which wasn't THAT GREAT anyhow seeing that the dash is still dusty. But he did offer to give me 2 free carwashes that valued a whopping $20.

Thank you so much. Really.

UGH.

And so the saga with the car continues....
